Biography
Yenny Schuster is a Dominican–Dutch digital artist who grew up in Amsterdam and is now based in Berlin.
Her work focuses on the emotional and psychological states that shape how we experience ourselves. Through digital portraiture, she explores distortion, inner tension, sensitivity, and the shifts between the inner world and outward appearance.
Her synesthetic experience of sound turning into color guides her visual language and influences the atmosphere of each piece. Although she comes from multiple cultural backgrounds, her practice centers less on identity and more on internal reactions and emotional perception.
Yenny often works in a 9:16 format to place the viewer in a dream-like, intimate space. The vertical scale mimics the size of a phone screen, creating a familiar yet slightly surreal perspective that draws the audience closer to the emotional core of each portrait.
Working digitally allows her to reveal what is usually hidden beneath the surface, turning psychological experiences into visible form.
